The
Hugh Logan Triangle: South from Bypass
This photograph presents the best location for hospital expansion that we
have found so far viewed from above the Athens bypass. We named it
the Hugh Logan triangle because it borders the Hugh Logan interchange (partially
visible at right). The borders of this triangle include the new extension of
Sunset that enters and exits the bypass, 5 lanes of Prince Avenue starting at
middle right (the intersection of Prince and Hawthorne), and the bypass itself
at bottom. This area may well be the most traffic accessible spot in Clarke
County, it's zoned for business, and at least 5 acres are for sale!
Question: If you were looking for a place to put outpatient
facilities to serve 7 counties would you maybe consider this area?
