Locations visited: Emergency room, rehab center, birthing center (neonatal intensive care unit), radiation oncology, mechanical building, midwifery.

A small planning group afterwards met with the facilitator to discuss the process for the meetings and agenda-setting. Immediately after the neighborhood tour scheduled for June 30, we will meet to craft an agenda. Because the five-year plan is imminent, we agreed to address it at our first full-length meeting on July 12.

Carl Nichols will contact a potential candidate for the at-large representation who was agreed upon by both CHN and ARMC.

We discussed putting a specific name to our work group for purposes of better recognition.

Sally Speed from CHN and Elaine Cook from ARMC will serve as recording secretaries for the meetings. Meetings scheduled to date are: July 12 and 27, August 9 and 23. They will take place at the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department auditorium on Dougherty St. at 6:00 p.m.
